Solicitation Announcement - Dept of Health - Reporting System Vendor

Washington State Department of Health (DOH) Marijuana Prevention and Education and Tobacco and Vapor Product Prevention and Control Programs Seek Reporting System Vendor

The Washington State Department of Health has issued a competitive solicitation to identify a qualified vendor that can license, implement, host, support, and maintain a configurable Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) or Software as a Service (SAAS) solution. DOH hopes to procure a hosted, commercially-available software product from the original software system developer.  The solution procured from the Apparently Successful Bidder is expected to have private cloud hosting capability, in addition to being both functionally complete and highly configurable to eliminate or minimize software development or customization.

The primary objective of this solicitation is to identify an electronic reporting solution that will enhance the ability of these and other DOH programs to more efficiently and effectively monitor and manage the use of state, federal and other resources.  In the short run, it will make data gathering, compilation, analysis, and sharing more efficient. Over the long run, it will provide more accurate data, support ongoing quality improvement, and reduce the strain on limited staff resources resulting from data requests.  Letters of Intent to bid are due Wednesday, January 23.

The Department is required to post all bid opportunities on WEBS, the state’s electronic vendor registration and bid notification system. If not currently registered, Bidders interested in obtaining notification of state bidding opportunities, including those for the Department, should register at:
